General practice relies on a wide network of communication between providers, services and systems that support patient care. Over time, that network has become an established and trusted part of how practices operate day to day.
As expectations continue to evolve, there is a growing focus on making those interactions faster, more responsive, and easier to manage, without changing the systems practices already rely on.
Over the past year, HealthLink have worked closely with general practices to support that shift. This work has been co-designed with GPs, with support from the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners, and through our Innovation Partnership Programme.
The focus has been on how communication across the network can feel more immediate and more accessible in day-to-day use.
HealthLink Pro has been developed as part of that evolution.
Near Instant Message Delivery
Messages across the HealthLink network now arrive in near real-time using Pro, keeping communication flowing between practices and specialists without delay.
Expanded Provider Directory
HealthLink Pro provides access across the HealthLink provider directory, giving practices the ability to search for and message any healthcare provider on the network. That means greater flexibility to collaborate with specialists, allied health providers, and wider services, supporting a more joined up and connected care approach.
Enhanced, Flexible Support
HealthLink Pro also brings enhanced support, with prioritised response times and instant chat available when practices need it. Practices have the option to call, email, or utilise the chat feature to get help in a way that suits them best.
These updates are the beginning of a continued programme of innovation through HealthLink Pro – aimed at reducing the small frictions that slow communication down and building tools that keep pace with how general practice is evolving.
Pro is available as a free trial from Wednesday 22 April for all current HealthLink general practice customers, accessible within your healthcare platform. For further information, contact [email protected]
