Medcast is proud to announce a new strategic partnership with Best Practice Software (Bp), joining Bp’s Partner Network as a Premium Partner to deliver point of care education. This collaboration marks a significant step forward in delivering high-quality education directly to clinicians, enhancing patient care and clinical workflows across the country.

“This partnership means that clinicians can earn CPD while they work, with education available right at the point of care. It also gives practices valuable support through Bp training and non-clinical tools.” said Dr Stephen Barnett, Clinical Associate Professor and Medcast CEO.

As part of this partnership, Medcast, which is also an RACGP CPD major provider, will launch educational content and tools seamlessly from BP’s clinical software.

This includes:

  • Point-of-care learning: Clinicians will soon be able to access Medcast education and earn CPD hours as they work – directly from their Bp Clinical desktop
  • Integrated AI support at your fingertips: Medcast’s AI clinical search tool, Mia, will be launched from Bp Premier at the click of a button – delivering relevant clinical insights right at the point of care (expected 2026).
  • Bp Software training: Medcast’s learning platform will also host Best Practice training, supporting smoother onboarding and continuous learning for new and existing practitioners.
  • Exclusive offer: Bp Premier customers will receive a 10% discount on Medcast education offerings.

Best Practice Software CEO, Craig Hodges, elaborated: “Together, we’re making education more accessible, more relevant, and more useful – right where clinicians need it most.”

This collaboration empowers practices with smarter tools and resources – clinical and non-clinical – to build capability, meet CPD requirements, and ultimately, deliver better outcomes for patients.
